Interfaces Principal Investigator Stefan Krause has given a number of invited speeches this month at a range of international conferences. He gave an invited keynote on “Hot Spots and Hot Moments of Biogeochemical Cycling at Aquifer-River Interfaces” at the 1st international TERENO conference in Bonn.
Stefan also gave an invited keynote on “High Frequency, High Resolution Monitoring of Ecohydrological and Biogeochemical Hot Spots and Hot Moments” at the 5th Water Research Horizons Conference in Berlin and jointly led a workshop on “Real-Time Ecohydrology”. Earlier this summer, he gave an invited presentation on "Hydrogeophysical Streambed Controls on Hyporheic Hotspots of Biogeochemical Turnover" at the JASM – Joint Aquatic Science Meeting in Portland, Oregon.
