One of the researchers conducts experiments at the Urban River Lab
An Advanced Training Course held at the Urban River Lab in Catalonia received a lot of media coverage locally, with local government, newspapers and TV crews taking an interest in the experiments.
The project's longest ATC ran over 9 days and researchers also collaborated scientists from a sister project, the Leverhulme Trust-funded "Where Rivers, Groundwater and Disciplines Meet: A Hyporheic Research Network".
The course was organised jointly by Interfaces' three Catalonian partners, the University of Barcelona, CEAB-CSIC and Naturalea. It consisted of classroom-based training sessions, as well as experiments held at the brand new, state-of-the-art Urban River Lab, a facility part-funded by the Interfaces project.
Below are some links to Catalan media covering the course; we will also have videos from the experiments shortly and more photos are already available on our media pages.
