Abdul graduated from his MSc degree in 2014. During the degree, he was taught renewable and clean conventional energy technologies in order to gain an understanding of both.
He gained experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer modelling while working as a Research Engineer at KTH, Sweden. His research project was financially supported by the Swedish Energy Agency together with Swedish industrial partners.
During his master degree, he was enrolled as a Research Visitor at Aston University under EU FP7 project BRISK where he gained knowledge about sustainable energy processes.
In his senior year undergraduate thesis, Abdul worked in a project based on the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge. His group worked collaboratively with a group from BUET, Bangladesh. The topic of his project was Low Cost Wind Turbine Energy Maximizer.
