Dr Ilaria Folci

Ilaria is a researcher on the UCSC-Cedisma team. She has a PhD in Personal Learning and Development. She is also a researcher at the Research Centre for Disability and Marginality (CeDisMa) and an Associate Lecturer in Special Education at the Faculty of Education at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Her research interests are around the themes of scholastic inclusion, marginality and deviance. She has conducted studies on the motivation of secondary school students. She is also member of SiPeS (Italian Society of Special Education). She writes the following about TAE project:

"It is an important opportunity for all those who work with autistic individuals to develop best practice in scholastic inclusion. Furthermore, the comparison with international realities can help us to broaden the perspectives about inclusion in mainstream schools for all students".
