Each year the School is approached by local sports clubs offering opportunities for our students to work with them as interns. Both full and part time opportunities become available and selection is through a competitive application process across all our undergraduate students.
Internships are also available in staff laboratories; e.g. Biochemistry, Human Movement, and also as part of on-going research projects. These opportunities help to enhance your CV and prepare you for the world of work upon graduation in a field of interest to you. Full time internships require that a student takes a break in their studies for the year of the internship before returning to complete their degree after a year. Part time internships allow students to balance their work and internship commitments completing their degree whilst gaining valuable practical work experience.
