Scholarships and bursary schemes are now open to fund student travel projects, work experience placements and internships.
Student Development Scholarships
These awards aim to provide financial support to enable existing students and graduates of the university to undertake worthwhile and original travel projects intended to further their academic or personal development.

Funding for work placements, research placements and internships
The Careers and Employability Centre offer a range of award schemes for existing students from a range of backgrounds that are looking to undertake a variety of work experience placements and internships.
Award schemes currently available include:
- The University of Birmingham International Work Experience scheme
- The University of Birmingham UK Professional Work Experience scheme
- The University of Birmingham Undergraduate Research Experience scheme
- Gateway Bursary scheme
- Raleigh Bursary scheme
