Policy Commission II fringe event:
‘Nuclear Power: What Does the Future Hold?’
Liberal Democrats Party Conference, Birmingham 

This event, held on 20 September 2011, explored questions central to the second Policy Commission such as whether the case for nuclear power in the UK has been made, the risks and benefits of nuclear power, whether nuclear energy is a finite resource, the expected energy mix without nuclear power, and the future beyond 2030-2050. Listen to Professor Martin Freer introducing the event.
