Our centre connects several research groups that aim to understand basic principles of brain structure and function. We are interested in how these principles are similar or different across the lifespan from infancy to old age. In this theme, researchers study brain health, disease and development using a variety of approaches including imaging, brain stimulation, pharmacology and computational modelling. We work with individuals with traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's Disease, autistic individuals, children who have experienced maltreatment or behavioural problems, and children and adolescents with psychosis or mood disorders. By understanding the whole spectrum of health we aim to have impact to ensure everyone can live a long and healthy life.
