We offer high quality learning and continuous professional development (CPD), short courses and other opportunities. It is also possible to hire our facility for in-house training.
NBIF provides flexibility on the type of training, from theoretical to hands-on. Off campus training both nationally and internationally is also available. Previous experience includes teaching land surveyors to become utility surveyors as part of a training programme at the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia.
Degree apprenticeship
Our Geotechnical Engineering Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship combines postgraduate level study alongside development of the knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary for success in the workplace.
CPD
Our current CPD training includes activities and courses, such as:
• Soil mechanics and testing.
• Field instrumentation and geophysical monitoring.
• Laboratory testing and computational modelling (Digital twin development).
