We are involved in a wide range of defence projects, such as Virtual Environments for manned and remote systems training, human-centred design for military simulation applications, Mixed Reality Interface concepts for future Command and Control and the exploitation of simulation in healthcare for military (and civilian) personnel.
We work closely with such organisations as the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), BAE Systems, QinetiQ and the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, providing the very best in research and practical expertise in the domains of Human Factors and simulation.
Our unique track record in defence research and development has been recognised by a number of awards, including the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors President’s Medal (awarded during the team’s participation in the UK’s Human Factors Integration Defence Technology Centre), the BAE Systems Chairman’s 2011 Bronze and Silver Awards (for “Gaming for Front Line Safety”) and the MoD Chief Scientific Advisor’s 2011 Commendation.
