    A day in the life of Rob

    I’m a third-year Maths student who is hoping to do a PGCE. I am also the president of the water polo club and a part of DogSoc. Coming originally from Essex, after two years at the University, Birmingham now feels like home.

    I am currently in my second year studying Business Management with Marketing, and I am hoping to carry out a placement year in industry next year. I am also a Publicity Officer for the UoB Marketing Society (MarkSoc) Committee, and I am a Student Ambassador and Content Creator. I am originally from Shropshire and really enjoy attending a university that is in the West Midlands.

    A day in the life of Manno

    I study Sports, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences with a year in industry. I am part of the North African society and some other cultural societies with the Guild of Students. These are fun for a nice games night, bake-off or movie nights with friends. I also enjoy attending sporting events such as Xplosion in the evenings on campus.

    I’m in my third and final year as a nursing student and am hoping to go into a pre-hospital nursing role. I spend my free time volunteering with St John Ambulance and playing hockey, a sport I’ve gotten involved in since starting uni. I love baking and will always take the chance to say hello to dogs!
