Ailish King is a research associate in the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation where she is currently undertaking two projects that are commissioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency and International Olympic Committee. Her principal research activity is investigating the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions for doping prevention, with a special focus on young athletes. Both projects focus on developing moral identify and reducing athlete’s intention to use doping substances.
Ailish completed her undergraduate degree in the School of Psychology at University of Leeds and is due to complete her MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University in 2018.
Ailish has previously worked within a forensic psychology setting.
