Previous Information Specialist positions include roles at NHS Evidence – Cancer, the Social Care Institute for Excellence (Scie), the Academic Unit for Health Economics (AUHE) – University of Leeds and the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) - University of Sheffield. She has also worked as a librarian within the NHS and the University of Derby. Research Research interests include information retrieval methods, evidence synthesis, professional learning and review methods. She is a member of the Summarized Research in Information Retrieval for HTA (SuRe Info) team and has co-authored the chapter on searching to identify diagnostic accuracy studies.
