Dan is a medical statistician with extensive experience in health technology assessment, having appraised submissions to NICE since 2017. He is a senior member of the Birmingham Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science, and sits on NICE TA Committee B.

Steve joined HSMC in September 2019 as a Senior Fellow, having been an Associate since 2010. Prior to joining HSMC, Steve worked in the NHS, ran a consultancy, and started his academic career part-time in 2008, combining work in the NHS and private sector with teaching, lecturing, and service evaluation.
