SHOC Summer Symposium

Focusing on the development needs of PhD students, Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and Early Career Academics (ECAs).

The Society for Studies in Organising Healthcare (otherwise known as SHOC, which runs the biennial OBHC conference) is holding a one day symposium. This event is open to all but will have a special focus on ECRs and PhD students. There will be sessions for presentations of research (with discussant feedback) and workshops (such as on writing skills, mentoring etc – depending on numbers). 

It's free for SHOC members, PhD students and ECRs. £50 for non members. There are also travel bursaries for PhD students and ECRs/ECAs: SHOC will fund up to 10 travel bursaries (£25 each) to support individuals to attend the Symposium. Please apply to Mark Exworthy: M.Exworthy@bham.ac.uk in advance
