With over 2,500 members and more than 70 societies on offer, it is likely that MedSoc will become an important part of your student life at Birmingham.

Tailored to suit healthcare students' busy timetables and to match their interests, MedSoc offers a vast array of sports teams, social events, charity groups and societies for you to get involved in. NurseSoc

In addition to MedSoc, Nursing students are able to join the University of Birmingham's dedicated nursing society, NurseSoc. NurseSoc aims to provide its members with peer group support throughout all years and regular social and fundraising events plus much more. Their aim is to ensure that you get the most of your student experience whilst training to become a nurse. NurseSoc works hard to connect different year groups through their family scheme, which allows older years to pass on knowledge they have learnt to help younger students. NurseSoc also have a close relationship with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, to work collaboratively on events and feedback student concerns easily.
