Developing our Teaching Portfolio & Inclusive Education Research

This workshop aims to bring all WIRC members together to map, exchange and brainstorm about the way we embed our research into our education portfolio and how we approach inclusivity into our teaching both in terms of content and pedagogy across our various areas of specialism. This will be an opportunity to reflect on how we promote this agenda in our teaching and identify avenues for development both in terms of our teaching portfolio and research on inclusive education. In addition, the workshop will focus on a number of forthcoming opportunities to identify potential synergies and collaboration as we move these forward. Our teaching is a key route to impact in the promotion of inclusivity in organisations. Being able to have a map of how we promote inclusive education as a Research Centre and identifying how we could work collaboratively to foster this in the future both in theory and practice would be a key strength and an exciting agenda for WIRC. As such, we hope that everyone of you will join us on the 19th October so we can benefit from your expertise and develop this together.
