The Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) at the University of Birmingham invites papers to a special track session of the International Conference on Big Data Analytics, Data Mining and Computational Intelligience.
The session will focus on 'Big Data Applications in the Rail Industry', and will cover a broad range of topics of industrial relevance, as detailed below.
The special session will cover all aspects of the usage of Big Data in rail, including appropriate architectural models, software packages, governance structures and best practices, to enable the undustry to maximise on the application of these technologies. The session will provide a forum for scientists and experts working in academia, industry and government to present their latest reserach findings and engineering experiences in application of 'big data to Improve railway capacity, optimise carbon emission, Cost and increase Customer Satisfaction'. Research papers and workshop proposals are invited on, but are not limited to, the following topics:
