Public debate on the future of nuclear energy in the UK

The Commission hosted a public debate to explore some of the fundamental questions facing the future of nuclear energy in the UK.

The debate was held midway through the Commission’s work (March 2012) to explore major themes that were to be central to the final report. This enabled the Commission to test the robustness of emerging conclusions in advance of the report being published in July 2012.
