Race Inequality and Education Policy: how the Coalition has waged war on equity

This free talk by Professor David Gillborn will look at how race inequities work through the everyday practices of schools and are shaped by wider education policy (even when policymakers claim to be colourblind). The talk will draw on new research to show how current patterns of inequality of achievement fit within, and reinforce, longer historical trends.
