This conference will highlight the latest research and bring together practitioners and academics working in this field.
This year confirmed speakers already include Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay, Jessica Woodhams, Dominique Moran, Marianne Wade, Viktor Pekar, Jane Binner, Stephan Jeffares from the University of Birmingham, as well as Erik Luna (Arizona State), and Nikos Passas (Northeastern University). Topics include research findings on domestic violence, sexual offending, prosecutors, social media, and the use of machine learning approaches to detect first-hand reports of emergency events on social media. Lunch will be provided, and will give you an opportunity to browse the posters that will be displayed throughout the conference.
