The Birmingham Economic Review 2019 is written by City-REDI, University of Birmingham in partnership with the GBCC. It will provide a comprehensive insight into the city’s economy, and the backdrop this offers to those doing business in a changing world.
The review will look at how Birmingham is adapting, innovating and leading the future.
It will also dive into how effectively we are creating a workforce fit for tomorrow, connecting communities across the city with opportunities and making inclusive economic growth happen.
With opportunities such as the Commonwealth Games on the horizon, it shall also consider how and if perspectives on Birmingham are changing.
The Birmingham Economic Review 2019 combines economic analysis with world class academic expertise and practical insights from local business leaders.
This event will feature an overview of the main findings of the report, followed by a high profile panel of business, policy and political leaders providing their views on the city-region and the findings of the research. They will then participate in a Q&A discussion with the audience.
