Graduates of the CDT programme have gone on to gain positions at prestigious academic institutions, leading organisations such as the NHS and into fulfilling careers outside science.
The majority of our graduates go on to academic positions, although many also stay in healthcare science outside of academia within the NHS Clinical Scientist programme. Outside of science graduates are also enjoying fulfilling careers in teaching, patent law, the civil service and as entrepreneurs.
The cross-disciplinary training provided by the programme equips students to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds, and the transferable skills students gain through formal training and by involvement with centre activities and networking makes them versatile and confident graduates as they move on in their careers.
