Who will my personal data be shared with?
For the purposes of the research project, we will share your personal data with COVID-Transplant study team. This research team includes staff from University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust and The University of Birmingham so that they can use this information to better understand how ‘shielding’ affects people, and to understand if transplant recipients experience a higher rate of COVID-19 infection, and if so, how severe it is. The clinical members of the study team are based at University Hospitals Birmingham FT. The rest of the study team, including the study database staff, are based at The University of Birmingham. We have appropriate agreements in place with University Hospitals Birmingham FT to protect and safeguard your data.
