Local Schools, Hands-on Experiment

Drawing on a study exploring the intersections of faith, culture, health and food, we are working to overcome barriers to participation in health research by taking up approaches to data collection which is culturally in tune with local people's lives and values. A collaborative activity mirroring food preparation provides a focus for talk and creates an environment conducive to really finding out what issues matter, and how we can work with local groups to tackle important health issues.
