Physiotherapy is more than massaging muscles or performing guided exercise. The Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) course develops both practical skills alongside research methodology and critical analysis, as well as clinical reasoning and knowledge of evaluation and treatment approaches. This course also benefits from practice education placements which inlcude clinical, leadership, education and research practices. Advanced practitioners support effective development in leadership skills and clinical research, contributing to a lifelong education culture. The School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences is internationally recognised as a major provider of physiotherapy programmes, offering integrated research-led teaching within a highly interactive teaching environment.
