Immunology and Immunotherapy Journal Club (10 credits)
The journal club will run throughout a large part of the MSc programme. Each week students will be provided with a research publication taken from high impact factor journals, with subject matter relevant to cutting-edge research in immunology and immunotherapy. All students will be required to take turns presenting to develop their critical analysis and oral presentation skills. Students are expected to attend all sessions having read the paper and to contribute to the discussion.
Module attendance required: Once a week for a total of 25 sessions

Assessment:
At the end of the module each student will be examined on an individually prepared oral presentation of an additional research publication selected by the student with the agreement of the academic lead. Each presentation will be limited to 25 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions.
