Envision offers a collaborative service to provide expertise and advice to perform environmental omics studies from design through data acquisition to data analysis and biological interpretation. Our collaborative service provides support pre-grant applications for study design and quotations. We share the final data with the customers via a secure link or Dropbox folder, depending on the data volume.

We also provide fee-for-service projects that require our staff to employ routine (well-established) procedures without further optimization according to pre-defined protocols, which does not require scientific input from our experts.

Quantitation and quality checks

A suite of quantitation methods for DNA, RNA, and library quality checks is available including Qsep, Quibit, and Nanodrop.

Nucleotide extraction

Optimized protocols for the extraction of nucleotides from tissue, cells, and cultures (gDNA, RNA).

Library preparation services

Upstream preparation of high throughput sequencing for DNA, RNA, ribo-depleted RNA, cDNA, and amplicon libraries.

High throughput long reads nanopore sequencing

Cutting-edge nanopore technology is optimal for long-read sequencing. Cost-effective for microbial and small eukaryote genome sequencing. Optimal for generating reference genomes.

Bioinformatics

Expert bioinformatic support tailored to the customer's needs. The analyses are agreed on a fee-for-service basis and include data storage for up to 6 months. Services offered include RNASeq mapping; genome mapping analysis; genome assembly, gene prediction; functional annotation; metabarcoding analysis; and metagenomics.
