Join us for an expert talk presented by the School of Education on embedding creativity and the arts in learning.
About the event
Creativity is a fundamental skill that enhances all areas of learning. The KHDA mandates that schools encourage students to engage in "creative thinking," "problem solving," and demonstrate "creative and critical thinking" abilities. As a crucial competence for future job prospects, creativity not only fosters wellbeing and self-expression but also prepares students for lifelong learning. This session will dive into the concepts of creativity and the arts, offering strategies to foster these skills and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning in students.
This talk will be presented by Dr Philip Anderson, Programme Director for MA Education programmes at the University of Birmingham Dubai. The session is open to anyone interested in exploring ways to enhance learner engagement through effective teaching methods.
This event will take place on Zoom and further details will be shared upon booking.
