All insurance taken out in the University’s name is arranged by the Head of Insurance. We keep a record of all insurances effected by the University and the property and risks covered.
We have an insurance portfolio, and cover in place to protect the University assets, revenue streams and legal liabilities appropriate for the educational, research and commercial activities undertaken at the University.
We review the University’s insurance requirements annually, assessing the risks facing the University and the types of protection needed to cover those risks. We obtain specialist advice from our insurance providers as needed.
