I chose to study Sociology and Criminology at UOB due to passion that was exhibited by lecturers. It was interesting to know that my lecturers were active members in a lot of projects pertaining to specific subject areas that I would be studying on various modules of my degree. Knowing that they contributed to my subject area, where in some cases they had written books, made learning feel more personal and engaging.
