Reflections on recent elections in Europe

In this special joint event, scholars from Aston’s Centre for Europe and the University of Birmingham’s Centre for Elections, Democracy, Accountability and Representation (CEDAR) examine recent elections in Europe with a particular focus on the cases of Spain and Slovakia. They will discuss what determined the election results and what wider lessons these elections have for the study of voting behaviour and the health of democracy in Europe.
