Event Overview

With ever-increasing knowledge of the importance of forests for global ecosystem health, we are seeing increasing communication within human communities to protect and celebrate our forests.

Join BIFoR for a free, public lecture and panel discussion chaired by Professor Jerry Pritchard on 19 June 2024, 4-5:30pm. Experts across a range of disciplines will be sharing their research and outreach activities on the topic of communities supporting, and supported by global forests.

This event is presented as part of the 2024 BIFoR annual meeting. Running from June 19th-20th 2024, the meeting explores how forests are composed of, driven and used by, as well as celebrated by, communities.

Registration

This public lecture is free to attend and open to all, both within and outside the University. Attendees can join the in-person event within the Alan Walters Building, Room G03 (R29 on the campus map) or via Zoom.
