An understanding of the key drivers at this and other universities is essential to moving on in an academic career. This seminar gives you the opportunity to find out directly from the College Directors of Research and Education for both LES and EPS the key drivers at UoB in terms of University and College level research strategies and teaching and education.

- Prof David Hannah, Professor of Hydrology and LES College Director of Research.
- Prof Jeremy Pritchard. Professor of Life Sciences Education and LES College Director of Education.
- Prof Costas Constantinou, Professor of Communication Electrodynamics and EPS
College Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer
- Dr Andrew Quinn, Reader in Atmospheric Science and Engineering and EPS College Deputy Director of Education.
Panel talks will begin at 12.30pm.
Who is this seminar aimed at?
All postdoctoral and early career research staff within EPS and LES who are considering a career in academia and wish to understand the drivers which govern this.
