Every Friday

Open to all postdocs and ECRs in EPS and LES.

This day will enable you to work on your own writing, planning or literature discovery in a ‘virtual’ but supportive environment.  There will be time to set targets at the beginning of the day and there will be regular planned breaks to enable you to network with colleagues or take a walk. 

Plan of the day

9:30 - 10:00 – Introduction (2 mins each)
Discuss your SMART targets with the group (10 mins)

10:00 - 11:00 Focused Work

11:00 - 11:15 Remote networking

11:15 - 12:30 Focused Work

12:30 - 13:30  Lunch and remote networking

13:30 - 14:45 Focused Work

14:45 - 15:15  Review targets with rest of group remotely. 

Because of their remote nature it is now possible to drop in and out of the session without having to attend the whole day.
