Why did you originally apply to do your chosen course at Birmingham?
The University had a great feel to it when I visited on an open day. I liked the idea of a campus university that was only 10 minutes from the busy city centre. Also the Chemistry course had a high student satisfaction rating, which really helped to influence my decision.
What do you think are the best points of your course?
The state of the art lab facilities, the availability to groundbreaking research (especially in the master’s project), and how approachable and helpful the lecturers are.
What is the best thing about studying at the University of Birmingham?
The range of sports and societies at the university, there are so many different options!
What is the highlight of your time at the University?
Joining the ice hockey team!

Is there anything extra students thinking about studying on the course should know?
Birmingham is a vibrant city full of many opportunities, both professionally and socially!
