The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences celebrates the achievements of its 41 student groups with the annual EPS Societies' Awards. We have a strong tradition of outstanding educational success; from public astronomy events to designing Formula Student cars, robotics to railways, journalism to diversity - our societies' do astonishing work, not just in academia but also to promote careers opportunities, industrial visits, outreach guest speakers and, of course, social events. The Awards act as a reminder of the hard work and dedication undertaken by students to make the University a better, more vibrant place to study and play.
This past year has been extremely challenging in many ways, which is why it is more important than ever to recognise the achievements of our exceptional students. We sadly still cannot hold our usual black tie event on campus but these Awards stand for far more than one of evening of presentations. Celebrate with us the incredible work of our students and see the winners announced at a special, virtual EPS Societies' Awards 2021 on 22 July.
We are pleased to acknowledge contributions to the Awards from Rolls-Royce.
