Please tell us about your current role and employer
I started working as a Materials Engineer for Civil Aerospace at Rolls-Royce plc in 2022 when I just finished my thesis writing. I am fortunate that my current role builds directly on the expertise I developed during my PhD, combining the advanced material knowledge I gained from both my MSc and PhD studies. It enables me to apply this foundation to manufacturing processes, align with industrial specifications, and contribute meaningfully to real-world applications.
Core businesses of Rolls-Royce plc include civil aerospace, defence and power systems.
