Deborah Harris

Deborah joined Rolls-Royce straight after graduation and has worked there ever since. She has been involved in repair technologies, engine programs, control systems and hydro-mechanical strategies.

She fell in love with campus as soon as she visited on an Open Day. Her time at University enabled her to become the person she is today and, in her words, "I couldn't have done it if I hadn't come here".

Advice from Deborah

“I would say to a student who wanted to make the most of their time at Birmingham: get involved in everything you can. University is about so much more than just your degree. It's about the friendships you make, the societies you're involved in and the things you can do to give something back to the University. So get involved, try everything and you'll have a great time.”
