Important information for guests invited to the University school topping out ceremony on Friday 17th April.
Guests should arrive at 12.30pm prompt to be issued with protective equipment and escorted into the building site. The ceremony will commence on site at 1pm. The ceremony will be followed by a buffet lunch until 2.30pm.
Chamberlain residence is being constructed oat the northern end of the Vale Village, entrance on Chruch Road. Please note there is no parking on the construction site and guests should report on foot to the pedestrian site entrance near to Church Road.
Parking will be available on the Vale at the car park reserved for contractors' cars on the right hand side before Mason residence is reached. Directions to the University can be found here.
There will be no requirement for guests to bring their own personal protective equipment, as everything which is required will be provided on site. However, as the ceremony is taking place on a construction site, guests will be required to wear high visibility jackets, hard hats and gloves and should dress accordingly, wearing sturdy shoes.
Access to the top of the tower will be via a goods and personnel lift on the outside of the tower.
