Year Two

This module adopts a hands-on approach to learning research methods and applying them to conduct student projects. It will involve lectures to introduce topics followed by work carried out in labs and workshops to develop and apply knowledge. Students will also participate in 10 hours of research across the School to get first-hand experience of research processes.

Assessment

• Written lab report (1500 words)
• Extended abstract (1000 words)
• 10 hours participation in school research
