The module adopts a model-based approach to sport Pedagogy. Drawing from theories of learning, students will be encouraged to critically consider a range of  pedagogical models (e.g. TGFU, Sport Education, Personal and Social Responsibility) and how these might be applied. A model-based approach offers a framework from which to consider pedagogical approaches that  develop individual competency and promote physical activity and health behaviours.
