Compulsory module
Language Dissertation
An extensive (10,000 word) research project where students will investigate a topic of their choice. Working with a supervisor in the department, they will design and carry out a piece of research, demonstrating all of the skills that they have developed in previous years. As well as showcasing their research and writing abilities, the dissertation project is usually a very engaging and enjoyable part of final year.
