The University of Birmingham is number one on the list of UK universities most frequently targeted by the country’s top employers looking for graduate recruits, according to a new report.
‘The Graduate Market in 2021’ is a study of the latest graduate vacancies and starting salaries at the UK’s one hundred best-known and most successful employers, conducted by High Fliers Research during December 2020.
The graduate job market remains competitive and even more so in light of Coronavirus, but you can be confident that when you join Birmingham you are joining a university with exceptional links to a wide range of industries; that top employers know our graduates are of the highest quality of any university in the UK and are ready for the world of work; and that our Careers Network will support you every step of the way.
Public sector employers in particular are expected to see growth in graduate employment, with a record 5,400 entry-level vacancies available for university-leavers in 2021. Of the 100 top graduate employers on the list the median starting salary is £30,000.
During your time at Birmingham you will develop employability within your degree programme and beyond.
