Biography

Ruthie Kesri is a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University, where she studied Political Science and Religion. With a passion for foreign policy, she focuses on conflict resolution and peacebuilding, as reflected in her work at the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the State Department’s U.S. Mission to the United Nations. Ruthie’s dedication to fostering global peace is further demonstrated by her receipt of the prestigious Hart Fellowship. She will spend her fellowship year at the Cadbury Centre, working to advance interfaith dialogue and reconciliation between the United Kingdom and its former colonies.

Research

Ruthie's research interests include national security, defence policy, and diplomacy, with a focus on conflict resolution and peacebuilding. She is particularly interested in how defence strategies and diplomatic efforts can be harmonized to prevent and mitigate conflicts. Additionally, she is keen on exploring innovative approaches to interfaith dialogue as a tool for peacebuilding.
