Christina Anderson qualified with a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1987 at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. After completing her rotational physiotherapy posts in Sandwell and Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, gaining experience across a variety of physiotherapy disciplines, she specialised in Paediatric Physiotherapy, working for 11 years at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Here she worked primarily with children with cancer as well as leading one of the physiotherapy teams, managing the staff and workload for that team.
In 2005 she moved into Higher Education at the University of Birmingham, where she led the Physiotherapy Practice Placement Team, whilst also being involved in teaching and admissions.
From August 2013 she has had the Practice Placement Lead for Physiotherapy and teaches practice related subjects including professionalism, as well as children's physiotherapy.
In 2013 Christina completed her MSc in Advancing Practice at the University of Birmingham.
