Andy’s experience has centred around rare earth elements, air-sensitive, pyrophoric and radio active materials. He has worked with stakeholders to design, tender and install large and complex systems fulfilling the objectives of many projects.
Andy is currently responsible for the planning, installation and building of a magnet manufacturing facility within the Magnetic Materials Group. He is also heavily involved with the Faraday Challenge project ReLiB overseeing the planning and installation of a Li ion battery, pouch cell manufacturing facility at the University of Birmingham.
