I have many years’ experience as a Chinese language teacher. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students at beginner, intermediate and advanced Chinese language levels at the University of Birmingham. I enjoy helping students learn Mandarin and like to see their enjoyment and appreciation of Chinese language and culture. It gives me a sense of achievement when students succeed in Chinese language acquisition.

Biography

I obtained a Chinese Teacher's Qualification in 2002 and taught for several years in China. My teaching broadened further when I started Chinese language teaching in the UK from 2015. I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese language at the University of Birmingham since 2018. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students at different levels.
