Dr Dawson’s research interests centre around environmental law and in particular, Louis is interested in waste and resources, ecology and chemical regulation. Louis’ PhD, obtained from the University of Birmingham and funded by an EPSRC scholarship as part of the Faraday Institutions work on lithium-ion battery recycling, examined the role of extended producer responsibility in facilitating a circular economy.
