Biography

I have joined the University of Birmingham in 2023 after spending 13 years as an Educational Developer at the University of Oxford. In Oxford I designed, developed and led teaching development programmes for doctoral researchers and a PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education for early career academics. I was head of the Educational Development Group in Oxford for 3 years, and subsequently set up an educational development function at the Saïd Business School in Oxford from 2020-2023, where I had the privilege of working closely with learning designers and establishing processes for high-quality online course design and development.
